Thanks to the Barbara Stone Foundation, we are offering a variety of adaptive opportunities for individuals with disabilities this 2023-2023 academic year, including scholarships for families with financial needs.​

2022 - 2023 CONNECT!

The Kroc Center partners with us to offer adaptive dance classes. Our purpose is to excite and challenge each individual by introducing a variety of dance genres, inspiring creative movement, and leading participants to effectively dance with others. We build friendships and have lots of fun!

2022 CHRISTMAS FLASH MOB!

It's the most wonderful time of the year! 
We open each year for the Downtown Greenville's Holiday Happenings Poinsettia Christmas Parade!

Every year, CDC invites individuals with disabilities, along with one partner (parent/guardian/grandparent/sibling), to learn a new dance and perform it two times in downtown Greenville before the Poinsettia Christmas Parade begins.  We traditionally enjoy a "pot luck" style reception following our performances. 

We can't wait to have everyone join us again in 2022! Save the Date for December 3rd!

2022 Rehearsal and Performance Dates
Rehearsals: November 10th, 17th, and December 1st. 
Performance:  December 3rd, 2022.

What does It Cost?
FREE to all participants and their caregivers/parents (just pay for a t-shirt, $15).

SPECIAL  EDUCATION  RESIDENCIES
in Greenville County High Schools

CDC receives annual funding from the Barbara Stone Foundation to work alongside special education high schoolers in the Greenville County Public Schools. 4 Schools are chosen both in the Fall and Spring semesters to participate in 5 weeks of lessons that finishes with a large performance of all involved schools. It's a special opportunity for our students and having the chance to perform on stage is an exciting experience for everyone involved. Peer tutors and teachers play a large role in the project and also join us onstage to assist our SpEd performers. Watch the video below to learn more about it.
